Christopher John Cron Sr. (born March 31, 1964) is an American former professional baseball player, manager, and current coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the California Angels and Chicago White Sox, and has managed in Minor League Baseball (MiLB). As of 2021[update], he is the assistant hitting coach for the Oakland Athletics.
He is the father of C.J. Cron and Kevin Cron who are also professional baseball players.
