Coimbatore International Airport (IATA: CJB, ICAO: VOCB) is an international airport and the primary airport serving the Coimbatore Metropolitan Area in Tamil Nadu, India.[5] It is located in the neighborhood of Peelamedu, about 10 km (6.2 mi) from the center of the city. It is the second busiest airport in Tamil Nadu by overall passengers handled after Chennai International Airport.[2] The airport is served by six carriers providing direct connectivity to nine domestic and three international destinations.
