Daniel Birkey (born December 10, 1957) is a retired American soccer player and coach who has worked in the game at the club, collegiate and professional levels. He was the head men's soccer coach at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, from 1988 to 2020. Upon Concordia's shift to NCAA Division II in 2015, Birkey was the 10th all-time winningest men's soccer coach in NAIA history (27 years in NAIA, with .671 winning percentage).[1]
Birkey recorded over 400 career wins during his time at Concordia alone.[2]
