Dankuni is a city and a industrial town of Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is now part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). It is considered posh area in Hooghly.[1][2] Positioned strategically near Kolkata, it has emerged as an important industrial and commercial center in the region.
