David Alexander Howell (born 23 June 1975) is an English professional golfer. His career peaked in 2006, when he won the BMW Championship and was ranked in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for a short time.[3] He played in the Ryder Cup in 2004 and 2006. Howell holds the record for most starts on the European Tour.
