Deccan Gymkhana is an elevated metro station on the East-West corridor of the Aqua Line of Pune Metro in Pune, India. The station was opened on 1 August 2023 as an extension of Pune Metro Phase I.[1] Aqua Line operates between Vanaz and Ramwadi.[2][3]
Located on the banks of Mutha River, the station is 26m high, 28m wide and 140m long. Its design is inspired by the Mavala Pagadi (turban) of Shivaji Maharaj.[4] A skywalk from Deccan Gymkhana PMPML bus stop on J. M. Road has been built to reach the station.[5] In the future, the station will be connected with another skywalk from Good Luck Chowk on F. C. Road.[6]
