Delmar Banner (28 January 1896 – 8 November 1983) was a German-born British painter who worked predominantly as a landscape and portrait artist.[1] One of his best known works is his 1938 portrait of Beatrix Potter, in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London. His work was part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1948 Summer Olympics.[2]
