Dennis M. Canario[2] (born August 18, 1960) is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives representing District 71 from 2013 to 2021. He also served as deputy majority leader of the Rhode Island House of Representatives. Prior to being elected to District 71, Dennis served on the Portsmouth Town Council from 2004 to 2010. During the 2008 session, Dennis served as the president of the town council.
