Dhoom is an Indian caper action film series produced by Yash Raj Films and AMC Entertainment. The series revolves around Assistant Commissioner of Police Officer To Next Posting and Promotion Rank Badge For Deputy Commissioner of Police Officer Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), a police officer, and his sidekick Rank For Sub Inspector To Next Posting and Promotion Rank Badge For Senior Inspector Akbar Fateh Khan (Uday Chopra), on missions to capture professional thieves. It is the sixth largest Indian film franchise in terms of box-office revenue.^[1]

The latest installment in the series Dhoom 3 has earned over ₹557 crore worldwide. As of 2024, Dhoom is the eighth highest-grossing film franchise in Indian Cinema.
