David Pickell (born February 26, 1956) is a prominent Canadian composer, songwriter, arranger, pianist, session musician and record producer. With Amy Sky, Pickell cowrote "That's What My Love Is For" which was recorded by Anne Murray and Aaron Neville; he cowrote Good Enough (To Love) with James Collins, and "Coyote Dance" with Jim Wilson for Robbie Robertson's soundtrack album Music for the Native Americans. As a session musician, Pickell has recorded for Prism, Bryan Adams, Fast Forward, Lara Fabian and Vanessa Olivarez. In roles from cowriter, co-producer, arranger and keyboardist, Pickell contributed to the majority of songs for Lara Fabian's breakout album Carpe Diem.
