Traci specialized in personal injury litigation and considered Craig Spangenberg to be his mentor. He worked prominently on and gained national recognition for his firm by representing primarily Canadian and British children injured by the birth-defect-causing medication THALIDOMIDE. He was a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a group of elite trial lawyers recognized as the most prestigious organization of trial lawyers in the world, whose mission is to protect and promote the Rule of Law. He served as their President in 1989. Personal Life Donald married his wife of nearly 53 years, Lillian Margaret Calafiore in 1948, had 11 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a faithful Catholic and counselor to numerous Bishops of Cleveland. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Regents and was a counselor and dear friend to numerous Presidents at St. Ignatius High School. He died in Lakewood, Ohio on October 24, 2006 at the age of 79.
