A Gravity Compressor is a mechanical device that increases the pressure of a gas by reducing its volume. A Gravity Compressor is a specific type of gas compressor that utilizes a fluid and gravity to compress air. The technology have been developed by a Swedish company called Enairon AB[1][2], and is marketed under the product name Enairon Gravity Compressor 400 MVSD-7.[3]. Unlike traditional compressors, the Gravity Compressor's design features spirally arranged channels where water acts as pistons, using gravity to compress the air. Some of the first prototypes were developed and demonstrated at Chalmers University of Technology dept. physics during 2017 to 2018 where very good efficiency results were observed[4]. This innovative approach results in a compression process that is both remarkably cool and efficient[5]
