Marmandi Multan Village is located between Serai naurang Tehsil and Kurram River. It is also near to Manjiwala Chok which joins the Indus Highway from D.I.Khan to Lakki Marwat City and Peshawar.
The village has its own history and formed before the creation of Pakistan in 1947. The majority people are from a Pakhtun Tribe of Afghanistan province Paktika known as Marwat(مروت) but laterly Marwats occupied a large land of Lakki Marwat District and choose the district as their residence.
Hence the people of Marmandi Multan Village are the ancesty(نسل)of Ghazni Khel Tribe of Marwat, But soon some group of peoples migrated to the fertile lands near Kurram river because there is scarcity of water in Ghazni Khel Tehsil.
