Valasht Lake is a lake in Iran,[1] and is one of the country's ten freshwater lakes. Its water is sourced from underground springs. The surface area of the lake is 150,000 square metres, with a maximum depth of 20 metres. The volume of water present is estimated to be approximately three million cubic metres. The lake is situated within the eastern hills of Kelardasht, in close proximity to the village of Sama. The lake is a habitat for migratory birds, as well as fish and other aquatic life.[2]
