Zurawski v Texas is a 2024 documentary directed by Abbie Perrault and Maisie Crow about Amanada Zurawski's lawsuit against the State of Texas over the strict anti-abortion laws the state adopted following the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The lawsuit came about when Zurawski had developed complications from her pregnancy and almost died from sepsis because medical personnel wasn't allowed to operate without being criminally prosecuted. The film was executive produced by Jennifer Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi through Excellent Cadaver, as well as Chelsea and Hillary Clinton through HiddenLight Productions.
It premiered at the 51st Telluride Film Festival to critical acclaim and whilst not having a distributor, the documentary is scheduled to release in select theaters on October 25, 2024, just before the 2024 United States presidential election.
