Ilya Yuryevich Shagalov (Russian: Илья Юрьевич Шагалов; born 14 December 1986) is a Russian video artist and theater director. He is known for his work at the Gogol Center, the Moscow Art Theatre, and the Staatsoper Stuttgart.
Shagalov has directed both film and stage productions, including the 2022 feature film Aquarium. He is a member of Kirill Serebrennikov's ‘Seventh Studio’.
