Drobysheve (Ukrainian: Дробишеве, pronounced [ˈdrɔbɪʃewe]; Russian: Дробышево) is a rural settlement in eastern Ukraine, located in Kramatorsk Raion of Donetsk Oblast. It is situated about 122 kilometres (76 mi) NNW of Donetsk city, about 57 kilometres (35 mi) WNW of Sievierodonetsk and about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) NW of Lyman. Population: 2,578 (2022 estimate).[2]
The settlement came under attack by Russian forces during the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022,[3][4] and was occupied until it was recaptured by Ukrainian forces during the Kharkiv counteroffensive on 30 September 2022.[5]
