Drupad Borgohain (7 November 1941 – 10 April 2019)[1] was an Indian politician.[2] He was a veteran leader of the left-wing in the Assam state.[3][4] As of 2014 he was the secretary of the Assam State Council of the Communist Party of India (CPI), a position he held since 1987.[2][5] As of 2010 he served as president of Assam state council of All India Kisan Sabha (peasants' movement).[6]
