Colonel Ernest Elliot Buckland Mackintosh, DSO (3 November 1880 – 25 November 1957)[1] was a British Army officer, engineer, and a Director and Secretary of the Science Museum in London.[2] He was appointed Director and Secretary of the Science Museum following the retirement of Sir Henry Lyons in October 1933,[3] and continued in the role until 30 November 1945.[4]
