Earl D. Brooks II (born January 11, 1956) was the 16th and is the 18th president of Trine University in Angola, Indiana, serving in that position since June 2000.[1] His tenure was the second-longest in the institution’s history.[2] At the time of his retirement on May 31, 2023, he was the longest-serving current college or university president in Indiana.[3] He later returned as president on June 27, 2024.[4]
