Edgewater Park is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey and a northeastern Delaware Valley suburb of Philadelphia. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 8,930,[10][11] an increase of 49 (+0.6%) from the 2010 census count of 8,881,[20][21] which in turn reflected an increase of 1,017 (+12.9%) from the 7,864 counted in the 2000 census.[22] The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.[23]

Edgewater Park was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 26, 1924, from portions of Beverly Township (now known as Delanco Township).[24] The township was named for its location along the Delaware River.[25]
