The Edgewood Academy is a non-profit non-sectarian independent school located in Elmore, Alabama serving 323 students from preschool through twelfth grade. The school was founded in 1967 as a segregation academy.[3][4] Edgewood Academy has been accredited by the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) since 1974, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
