Edward Irving Edwards (December 1, 1863 – January 26, 1931) was an American attorney, banker, and Democratic Party politician who served as the 37th Governor of New Jersey from 1920 to 1923 and represented the state in the United States Senate from 1923 to 1929.[1] He was a leading critic of Prohibition.
