Edward Francis Mickolus, Jr. (born December 28, 1950[1]) is an author and counter-terrorism expert, and formerly an officer in the Central Intelligence Agency,[2][3] from which he retired in 2008. Mickolus is the author or co-author of a number of books on counter-terrorism.
Dr. Edward Mickolus, President of Vinyard Software, has been a leading scholar in international terrorist studies since 1975. He served in the Central Intelligence Agency as an analyst, collector, public affairs officer, and recruiter for 33 years.
