Eidsivating

Eidsivating (Old Norse: Heiðsævisþing) was one of the four ancient popular assemblies or things (lagting) of medieval Norway. Historically, it was the site of court and assembly for the eastern parts of Norway, and was located at Eidsvoll.[1]
