Energy Micro AS was a Norwegian fabless semiconductor company specializing in 32-bit RISC ARM chips. The company focused on ultra low energy consumption MCUs, SoC radios and RF Transceiver.[2] Its EFM32 microcontroller families are based on the ARM Cortex-M0[3] or M3[4] processor core with a feature set for low power operation.[5] It was acquired by Silicon Labs in 2013.
