Evgenia Semenovskaya

Evgenia Nikolaevna Semenovskaya (Simonovskaya) (Russian: Семеновская (Симоновская) Евгения Николаевна, 1895–1976) was a Russian ophthalmologist and revolutionary politician. At a young age she was a Socialist-Revolutionary (later Left Socialist-Revolutionary) leader in Ufa during 1917–1918, and would then be one of the main leaders of the short-lived Party of Revolutionary Communism. She left politics in 1920 and would pursue a long research career in ophthalmology.
