Firhad Hakim (born 1 January 1959) is an Indian politician serving as the current and 38th Mayor of Kolkata.[3] He is also serving as Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs and Housing, Government of West Bengal. He is a MLA of the Trinamool Congress party from Kolkata Port.

Hakim was elected to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 2009. Two years later, he became a cabinet minister in the Mamata Banerjee ministry. In December 2018, he was appointed mayor following the resignation of the incumbent Sovan Chatterjee.
