Flore Levine

Flore Levine-Cousyns was born in Antwerp in Belgium on December 6, 1898 and died in Antwerp on April 14, 1989. She was a concert pianist, Professor of Piano at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp[1] (1931-1964) and was appointed Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Couronne and Chevalier de l’Ordre de Léopold. She herself was a disciple of Émile Bosquet.[2]

  2. ^ note: Bosquet was born in Brussels in 1878 and died in Brussels in 1958, a virtuoso pianist of international reputation, who studied with Ferruccio Busoni. Émile Bosquet was one of the first pianists to obtain the First Prize of the worlds’ famous Anton Rubinstein Competition in Vienna in 1900.
