Folgaria (Cimbrian: Folgrait, from the Latin filicaria) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2013, it had a population of 3,193 and an area of 71 square kilometres (27 sq mi).[3]
