For the Lions is a cover album by American metalcore band Hatebreed. The album was released on May 5, 2009 through Koch Records.^[1] The album consists of 18 cover songs from bands that had an influence on Hatebreed's music. The album was originally set to be released in winter 2008, but the band wanted to record a few more tracks for the record, and so the release date was pushed back.^[2]
