Gabriela Rosa (born October 12, 1966)[1] is a Dominican-American former politician. After being elected to the New York State Assembly in 2012, Rosa resigned her office in June 2014 as part of a federal plea deal.[2][3] A native of the Dominican Republic, Rosa admitted to lying to immigration authorities about a sham marriage.[4] She was sentenced to a year and a day in prison.
