Gazimestan stone (Serbian: Газиместан камен, romanized: Gazimestan kamen) is a record of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, which is believed to have been composed by Prince Lazar's son and heir, Stefan. It is a laudatory poem written in the form of an apostrophe, in which can be seen the influence of church poetry, but which also has distant echoes of chivalric epics.[1]
