Gennady Ivanovich Padalka (‹See Tfd›Russian: Гeнна́дий Ива́нович Па́далка; born 21 June 1958 in Krasnodar, Soviet Union) is a Russian Air Force officer and Roscosmos cosmonaut. Padalka is the only person to have served as the Commander of the International Space Station (ISS) four times. He previously held the record for the most time spent in space at 878 days until Oleg Kononenko broke this record on February 4, 2024 at 07:30:08 UTC and is currently at 2nd position.[1][2][3][4][5][6] He worked on both Mir and the International Space Station.
