Blessed Gerard of Clairvaux (Latin: Gerardus de Clara Valle, French: Gérard de Clairvaux) (c. 1120 – 1177) was the sixth abbot of Clairvaux. He was murdered by a rebellious monk and is counted as the first Cistercian martyr.
