The nineteenth season of Germany's Next Topmodel[1] aired on ProSieben from February to June 2024 under the catch phrase GNTM for all.
The international destinations for this cycle are Santa Cruz, Los Angeles and Palermo.
This marks the first season with male contestants and the first season to have two winners, one male and one female. It also marks the absence of best-ager models for the first time since season 16.[2][3][4][5]
The winners for this season are 19-year-old Jermaine Kokoú Kothé from Kassel and 24-year-old Lea Oude Engberink from Düsseldorf who each received prizes including a joint cover and spread in the German edition of Harper's Bazaar and a €100,000 cash prize. Kothé is the first male winner of the series while Engberink previously auditioned for twelfth season but failed to make it into the competition. [6]
This season breaks the record for having the biggest pool of contestants in the history of the Top Model franchise with 40 contestants. Additionally, this is the first season in Top Model history to have 7 finalists, the most in any adaptation.
