Gevrey-Chambertin (French pronunciation: [ʒəvʁɛ ʃɑ̃bɛʁtɛ̃]) is a commune in the Côte-d'Or department of France in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France.[3]

It lies 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of Dijon. This touristy, winemaking village is situated on the Route des Grands Crus in the Côte de Nuits. The village is noted for the Grand cru Burgundy wine that is produced from its vineyards, the most famous of which is Chambertin.
