Glenn Carlyle Nye III (born September 9, 1974) is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for Virginia's 2nd congressional district from 2009 to 2011.[1] He is a member of the Democratic Party. He was defeated in his attempt to attain re-election on November 2, 2010. The district included all of Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore, as well as parts of Norfolk and Hampton.

Nye currently serves as president and CEO of the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress.[2]
