Gloria Catherine Oden (October 30, 1923 – December 16, 2011) was an American poet, editor and retired professor of English.[1] She was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1979 for Resurrections, a collection of poems that responded to the unsolved murder of her mother and sister in their home in Washington, D.C.[2]
