Goúves (Greek: Γούβες) is a village and former municipality in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since 2011, local government reform it is a part of the municipality Hersonissos, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 94.963 km2 (36.665 sq mi).[3] It lies about 9 mi (14 km) east of Heraklion.

Goúves is better known for its busy summer resort about 1.15mi (1.87km) north of the village, Káto Goúves. Besides this well developed tourist resort with long sandy beaches, the area has some traditional villages and archaeological sites and Eileithyia caves.
