Grand Street Settlement is a historic social service institution on the Lower East Side and Brooklyn in New York City, United States. The institute was founded[1] in 1916 in response to the needs of immigrants from Eastern and Southern Europe who were settling in the area. Over 17,500 individuals currently participate in Grand Street Settlement's programs.
