Greenwood County is a county located in the U.S. state of South Carolina. As of the 2020 census, its population was 69,351.[2] Its county seat is Greenwood.[3]

Among the 22 counties located in the Piedmont of the state,[4] Greenwood County is the largest county within the Greenwood, SC Micropolitan Statistical Area.[5]
