Gub (Irish derived place name Gob, meaning 'The Headland') is a townland in the civil parish of Kinawley, barony of Tullyhaw, County Cavan, Ireland.[1] The townland is also called 'Gub Wallace' (after the Wallace family that lived there) to distinguish it from similar named townlands.
