Haas Factory Team is an American professional stock car racing team that will compete in the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team is owned by Haas Automation founder Gene Haas. It is the third iteration of the team, which debuted in 2002 as Haas CNC Racing, added Tony Stewart as a partner from 2009 to 2024 as Stewart–Haas Racing, and after the splitting of the partnership, will continue solo with Gene Haas for the 2025 season. For legal purposes (such as team history for NASCAR points rules), the 2025 season will be the 24th season of Haas Factory Team, and the eighth with Haas as the sole proprietor.[1]
The team is based and headquartered in Kannapolis, North Carolina – roughly 10 miles (16 km) north of Charlotte Motor Speedway – alongside sister team and Formula One entrant Haas F1 Team, though the two teams are separate entities. The team will remain in the same shop as was the case prior to the divestiture of Tony Stewart from the team at the end of 2024.[2]
