Habaek

Habaek, the god of Amnok River

Habaek (Korean하백; Hanja河伯), also known as Habak (Korean하박; Hanja河泊)[1] is the Goguryeo god of the Amnok River[2][3] or, according to an alternative interpretation, the sun god Haebalk (Korean해밝).[4][5] According to legend, his daughter Yuhwa married Haemosu and gave birth to Chumo, the founder of Goguryeo.[6][7][8][9]
