Hani (Kurdish: Hênî, lit. 'fountain'),[2] formerly known as Palimaden (Ottoman Turkish: پالیمعدن),[3] is a municipality and district of Diyarbakır Province, Turkey.[4] Its area is 436 km2,[5] and its population is 32,519 (2022).[1] It is populated by Zaza Kurds.[2]
