Harriet Newell Noyes (Chinese: 那夏理; pinyin: Nà Xiàlǐ; March 5, 1844 – January 16, 1924) was an American Presbyterian educator, writer, and missionary for fifty years. She founded the True Light Middle School, the first women's school in Guangdong Province, China, and is credited with establishing the first generation of professional women of that province.[1]
