Hayashima (早島町, Hayashima-chō) is a town located in Tsukubo District, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 February 2024, the town had an estimated population of 12,772 in 5261 households and a population density of 1700 persons per km2.[1] The total area of the town is 7.62 square kilometres (2.94 sq mi), making it the smallest municipality in Okayama in terms of area, but also the most densely populated.
