The Heat diner scene is a scene from the 1995 film Heat, which was written and directed by Michael Mann.[1][2][3] The scene features the characters of Lt. Vincent Hanna and Neil McCauley, played by Al Pacino and Robert De Niro respectively.[2][3][4][5] The scene is notable for marking the first time Pacino and De Niro shared screen time together, which they never did in their first film collaboration, The Godfather Part II (1974).[4][6][7][8] The scene lasts six minutes and 17 seconds.[7]
