Hiers-Brouage (French pronunciation: [jɛʁs bʁuaʒ]) is a former commune in the Charente-Maritime department, southwestern France. It is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Marennes-Hiers-Brouage.[2]
